Arabieren mogen studeren in Israel tot aan de hoogste graad aan toe, Gaza wordt nog elke week voorzien van massa aanvoer groenten, fruit en andere eerste levensbehoeften (op kosten van de staat Israel, terwijl het eigenlijk allang niet meer nodig is), Jood en Arabier hebben in principe gewoon dezelfde rechten, vrouwenrechten zijn gewaarborgd in de Joodse staat (gelijkheid in rechten), medische verzorging is voor Jood en Arabier hetzelfde. Waarom het scheve beeld in de wereldpers?
Het 'algemene' beeld bestaat dat Arabieren niet als mens gezien worden door de Joodse staat. Kunt u mij dan vertellen hoe het kan dat Palestijnse kampen van jaren terug, nu vreselijk vervallen zijn en dat er geen Arabische staat is die hier iets aan doet? Bepaalde 'so called' menslievende naties en regeerders moorden hun eigen volk uit (bijv. Hamas, Syrië, Libië) en laten hun eigen mensen (!) verrekken in omstandigheden die niet menswaardig zijn. Er worden geen maatregelen genomen om iets te doen aan de slechte omstandigheden van mensen 'zonder belangrijke status' ! Noch is er sprake van democratie. Israel daarintegen neemt regelmatig mensen, van goede wil, op in haar eigen bevolking. In de regel zijn dat Arabieren die hiervoor kiezen en nieuwe immigranten, omdat ze (volgens eigen zeggen) een goed leven hebben onder Israelisch bestuur, waarin ze redelijk tot zeer goed kunnen voorzien in de behoeften van hun dagelijks bestaan (ondanks de tanende economie momenteel).
Ik denk zelf dat mensen (gedeeltelijk) in staat zijn hun eigen toekomst te maken of te breken door de verkeerde of de goede keuzes te maken.... Helaas kan je als regeerder heel gemakkelijk een volk (of zelfs een hele wereld) duperen, door binnen een machtsstructuur mensen dom te houden en vol te gieten met halve waarheden (of te wel hele leugens). Wie moet je daar verantwoordelijk voor houden, anders als degene die verantwoordelijk zijn voor dit soort dingen? Toch zeker niet een volk wat anders wil, toch? En dat geldt voor iedereen die op dit aardbolletje rondwandelt...

Na het lezen van dit krankzinnige manifest, werd het duidelijk waarom Anders Behring Breivik dit jongerencentrum heeft aangevallen. Het was een links indoctrinatie kamp. Eén van de activiteiten op dit kamp was de demonisering van Israel. Toen het schieten begon, dachten sommigen dat het een simulatie was van wat ze hadden geleerd; van wat Israel doet in Gaza (volgens de propaganda).
"Sommige van mijn vrienden probeerden hem te stoppen door te praten met hem. Veel mensen op het eiland dachten dat het een test was ... een vergelijk met hoe het is om in Gaza te leven. Daarom gingen veel mensen naar hem toe en probeerden met hem te praten, maar ze werden meteen doodgeschoten. "- aldus Adrian Pracon.
Waarom zouden deze kinderen dit gedacht hebben? Er werd duidelijk aan ‘anti-Israel/Joodse indoctrinatie’ gedaan op het kamp. Sterker nog, een paar dagen voor de opnames, nam de Noorse minister van Buitenlandse Zaken deel aan een boycot-Israël evenement in dit kamp.
Achtenveertig uur voor het vrijdag-bloedbad, hadden deze tieners die deelnamen aan de regerende partij-jeugdkamp een ontmoeting met de Noorse minister van Buitenlandse Zaken. Sommigen riepen op tot een boycot van Israël.
Gahr Stoere vertelde de jongeren dat de Palestijnen een eigen staat verdienen en dat de bezetting moet stoppen, zo heeft de Noorse website Politisk gemeld. Een aantal van de jongeren zwaaiden met borden waarop te lezen stond: "Boycot Israel". De jongeren die deelnamen aan het jeugdkamp van de heersende Noorse partij op het eiland Utoya hadden een ontmoeting met minister van Buitenlandse Zaken Jonas Gahr Stoere en zijn eis was Palestina te erkennen op woensdag, twee dagen voor de dodelijke terreuraanval die velen van hen doodde.
Noorse jongeren spraken over de staat Palestina voorafgaand aan de aanval.
Nu, voordat iemand mijn verhaal gaat verdraaien in een ongewenste richting: ik rechtvaardig deze krankzinnige aanval allerminst! Het doden van 90 kinderen in koele bloede, is nooit gerechtvaardigd. Ik kan niet uitleggen waarom de jongeren dachten dat de schietpartij in eerste instantie was bedoeld om na te bootsen wat zij beweren dat Israel in Gaza doet. Ze werden gehersenspoeld in dit ‘progressieve indoctrinatie kamp’. In zijn verwrongen geest, was de schutter er van overtuigd dat hij tegen het kwaad moest vechten. De reden van dit jeugdkamp was om aan een volk (met name jonge mensen) een volk te leren haten en te demoniseren, dat geen bedreiging is voor Noorwegen. Met andere woorden, de mensen die dit kamp georganiseerd hebben moeten zich schamen. Een kamp als dit organiseren is op zichzelf een andere vorm van het kwaad. Niets van dit alles doet nog steeds iets af van het feit dat 76 jonge mensen (die net begonnen waren aan de reis van hun leven) werden gedood in koelen bloede. Moge hun zielen vrede vinden.

‘The Arabs Are Conducting an Ecological Intifada’

According to a newly released report by Israel’s Environment Ministry, the streams in the Judea and Samaria area have been used as a means of discharging sewage by PA Arabs. The report cites reasons of a lack of sewage treatment facilities in the Palestinian Authority as well as the absence of a cooperation agreement between the PA and Israel as being the cause for this problem.
Itche Meir, chairman of the Municipal Environmental Association of Samaria, confirmed in an interview to Arutz Sheva’s daily journal on Tuesday that the localstreams are contaminated and it is mostly due to Arab sewage. “The reality is that there is no sewage treatment in those Arab cities and villages, and sewage flows into streams, seeps into the ground and pollutes the mountain aquifer. This is damaging both to the environment as well as to natural sites.”
Meir added that Israel does not have a plan to improve or change the situation. “One of the most serious problems is the lack of policy regarding cross-border nuisances,” he said. “We’re not the only case of two countries next to each other. The U.S. and Mexico agree who will take care of pollution, but our system is very complicated, especially since there is no border and everyone lives within each other. In Israel every citizen has a motivation to prevent pollution for future generations but for the Arabs this does not exist.”
He expressed hope that the State comes to its senses on this issue. “It is our responsibility for the next generation to preserve our ground and water resources and to act to connect the PA cities to Israeli facilities. Unfortunately, since the Oslo Accords, we have met all our commitments to provide water and sewage purification, yet they do not do anything. There ought to be a link between water supply and our demand from them that they purify the sewage, but for political reasons we do not require it of them.”
Meir said that he believes that there is also some damage deliberately being done by Arabs to nature. “This is a type of ecological Intifada,” he said. “They found out that this hurts us so they exploit it.”

Technisch gegeven: Beide filmpjes worden weggefilterd door Filternet. Waarom dat zo is bij het laatste filmpje is mij niet duidelijk. Bij het eerste filmpje kan ik me daar nog iets bij voorstellen (ivm kinderen die mee kijken op het internet)! Regelmatig vind ik het niet altijd logisch dat er iets geblokt staat.
Voor mijn gevoel wordt er in het tweede filmpje geen eerlijk oordeel geveld ( mijn mening is gebaseerd op basis van het filmpje zelf). Denkt u alstublieft realistisch na, voor u een oordeel velt waar 'iedereen het mee eens is, omdat de pers dit voorschrijft' (in Nederland en Europa) zonder na te denken en in te lezen hoe de werkelijke feiten liggen. Ik schaam me diep voor een maatschappij waarin het mogelijk is dat geweld uitgaat boven goede bedoelingen van mensen....
Met een Solconfilter kunt u wel de filmpjes bekijken, die anders geblokt blijven. Een Filternetfilter is eenvoudig om te zetten naar een Solconfilter middels één telefoontje naar Solcon.
Israel stelt gedeelte van de autoweg open voor Palestijnen

(Novum/AP) - Israel heeft vrijdag een deel van de autoweg over de Westoever, die Jeruzalem met Tel Aviv verbindt, opengesteld voor Palestijnse voertuigen. Het leger zegt daarmee te voldoen aan een uitspraak van het Israelische hooggerechtshof. Palestijnse auto's werden sinds 2002 geweerd, nadat Israelische weggebruikers bij beschietingen waren gedood.
Palestijnen dienden in 2007 voor het hooggerechtshof een verzoek in om weer tot de weg te worden toegelaten, en zagen dat verzoek onlangs gehonoreerd.
Palestijnen en Israëlische mensenrechtengroepen zeggen dat de openstelling onvoldoende is. De toegang tot de autoweg blijft door controleposten van het leger beperkt en Palestijnen mogen maar van een gedeelte van zes kilometer gebruikmaken, terwijl de afslagen naar Ramallah en Jeruzalem voor hen gesloten blijven.
Dan Yakir van de Vereniging voor Burgerrechten in Israel merkte vorige week op dat de weg grotendeels is aangelegd op land dat van Palestijnen is geconfisqueerd. De enige echte oplossing van het veiligheidsprobleem zou zijn om Israeliers, niet Palestijnen van de weg te weren, zei hij.
PA Demands: Give Us Land for Highway

“We’re building a highway, so give us some Israeli-controlled land.” This is the latest demand made by the PA of Israel, following the start of construction on a new PA city in the heart of southern Shomron (Samaria).
The new city - the first planned city in PA-controlled areas - is to be located between the Jewish communities of Shilo and Ateret, just west of the major Highway 60 leading from Nazareth to Be’er Sheva. The name of the new town is Rawabi, meaning Hills, and is designed to house between 25,000 and 40,000 Arab residents in its first stage – and 200,000 when it is completed. It is a private enterprise, with funding from Qater and businessman Bashar Massar of Shechem (Nablus).
The new city is to be located some nine kilometers north of Ramallah, between the Arab villages of Atara and Jiljilya. The closest Jewish community is Ateret, and residents there are duly concerned.
“As of now, there is Arab contiguity from Ramallah to Birzeit,” a leading resident of Ateret told Israel National News, “and this essentially breaks up the Binyamin Regional Council into eastern and western halves. Building an Arab city, of course, deepens this split.”
“The four-lane highway that the PA wishes to build in the direction of Ramallah will have to cross our main artery, Road 465, which is the main highway used by residents of Beit El, Ofrah, and other parts of eastern Binyamin to reach central Israel.”
Ateret is a growing Jewish town, despite the difficulties. It has grown in the past six years from 55 families to 100, and more are scheduled to be moving in this coming summer. The “construction freeze” caught the town as it was about to build a new neighborhood. One of its main attractions is the musical yeshiva high school Kinor David.
Israel Had No Say
In effect, Israel had no say in the construction of the city, as it is being built in what the Olso Accords denote as Areas A (full PA control) and B (PA administrative control, Israeli security control). The planned highway between Rawabi and Ramallah, too, passes almost exclusively in these areas – except for a short stretch around Highway 465.
Israel Not Agreeing to Give Land for Highway - So Far
The PA has asked Israel to grant Area A status to that stretch, but Israel’s defense establishment is not in favor, in order not to detach western Binyamin from eastern Binyamin. However, the paving of the road will apparently receive Israeli permission - though as of now the PA is refusing to pave the highway, or even to request permission to do so, until Israel agrees to place the planned route in Area A.
Whose Land?
Another issue is that of land ownership and use. With the permission of the Civil Administration, and the active cooperation of the Jewish National Fund, forestland has been planted practically up to the borders of Ateret. “And we know that where there is legal building, there is also illegal building,” an Ateret source said, “and we see that this is beginning already. In addition to taking land that could be used for Jewish growth, this is a security danger as well.”
A highly-placed source in Ateret said he has heard that the PA highway will pass under Road 465, and not over, “but this is not official… What is needed, though, is at least that our important highway be improved; it needs better lighting, a new paving, and proper signs. We know that the Road Works Department has put us on its schedule, but work has not yet started.”
“It’s important to know that there are some who view our highway as dangerous, and that was true before Operation Defensive Shield in 2002. But since then, there has been only one shooting incident throughout this time. If people are hesitant to drive on this highway, it’s only a psychological bloc.”
Arab Rioting Expands to Hevron

Some 100 Arabs threw rocks and rolled burning tires near the Jewish Community in Hevron on Monday. One soldier's hand was wounded lightly during the Arab attack.
The IDF declared the incident an “illegal and violent disturbance,” and soldiers used tear gas to disperse the attackers.
The Arabs were protesting the Israeli Government declaration on Sunday that the Jewish State recognizes the Jewish sites of the Machpelah Cave in Hevron and Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem as national heritage sites.
Palestinian Authority sources said that the decision was a violation of the accords, is dangerous, and “will add to the religious complexities of the conflict in that it could lead to dangerous results.”
The Judea Residents Council responded: “It’s no surprise that the Arabs are not happy with the decision about the Machpelah Cave; as far as they’re concerned, we have no right to be in Tel Aviv either. We congratulate the government on its decision, and call upon it not to cave in to Arab terrorism and violence.”
The original list of national heritage sites did not include either the Machpelah Cave or Rachel’s Tomb; these were added only after heavy pressure from the nationalist end of the spectrum.
This past Friday, the traditional weekly Arab riots in Bil’in - held every Friday for five years against the placement of the anti-terror fence - were buttressed by two additional riot flashpoints: Near N’vei Tzuf in western Binyamin and at the Arab village of Umm Salmona, near Bethlehem, where rioters threw stones at Jewish civilians and soldiers. Arabs have rioted before near N’vei Tzuf, lightly injuring two Border Guard policemen with rocks a month ago.
PA: We Foiled Rocket Attack on Tel Aviv

The IDF revealed Monday that Palestinian Authority troops two weeks ago found a rocket ready for launch in an Arab village near Modiin, located between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv and only a short distance from Ben Gurion airport.
Hamas was behind the attempted attack, according to sources in the Fatah-led PA.
PA troops told Israeli forces of the rocket's location and Arab officials said the foiled attack was the culmination of an intelligence-gathering effort.
Terrorists from both the Fatah and Hamas factions continue to attack Israelis despite a PA campaign to prove that its troops can successfully fight terrorism in Judea and Samaria.
The IDF said that in the past two days, there were two attempts by PA Arab drivers to run down army soldiers. On Saturday night, IDF forces were called to the area west of Bethlehem following a report that Arabs were hurling rocks at Israeli vehicles. Arab terrorists in a vehicle opened fire at the soldiers, and the Arab driver then tried to run over them. The soldiers returned fire, and there were no damage or injuries.
A similar incident occurred in the area of Hevron on Saturday afternoon when the driver of an Arab vehicle tried to run over soldiers. IDF forces returned fire towards the vehicle, and two Arabs were injured. The soldiers had arrived to the area after receiving information that a number of Arabs had arrived there to steal vehicles.
On Monday, two Jewish teenagers were attacked on Monday by a gang of Arabs and leftist demonstrators at the Maon Farm south of Hevron. The teenagers, aged 15 and 16, were hit by rocks hurled by the mob. One sustained head injuries, while the other suffered light wounds on his arm. MDA paramedics provided first aid to the two youths
Rising Muslim Hopes from Obama’s Outreach May Backfire

U.S. President Barack Obama is continuing his “reaching out to Muslims” approach by consulting more with Muslim advisors. In June, he will visit Indonesia, the world’s largest Muslim nation. Several analysts question whether the moves are more symbolic than real, and one warns they might help terrorists topple the kingdom in Saudi Arabia.
President Obama dramatically appealed to Muslims around the world in a speech in Cairo last June. At home, after distancing himself from Muslims in his campaign for president, he appointed the White House’s first Muslim advisor, Egyptian-born Dalia Mogahed, who supports and has defended the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), both of which expressed views in support of Hamas and the radical Muslim Brotherhood. 
Other moves to embrace Muslims include the president’s invitation to Kenyans, the native country of his father, to an entrepreneurial summit next week. U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton earlier this year overturned a Bush administration ban against the entry into the United States of the grandson of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Tariq Ramadan. Mogahed was among those who welcomed him and also appeared in public with him.
The New York Times last week reported that President Obama is working behind the scenes to build closer ties with Muslims while avoiding the limelight through actions such as attending a mosque.
However, a writer for the Jakarta Post states, “It is not totally wrong if Indonesian Muslims greet him, when he visits Indonesia next June, as a Muslim brother. Indonesian Christians also can do the same. What is in his website that he has never been Muslim is correct in the sense that he never voluntarily and officially registered himself, when he was adult, as Muslim….
“Islam is more than a religion and is a way of life…. The arrival of Obama can be used as a good opportunity for Indonesian Muslims to embrace the fact that Islam is a peace-loving religion.”
While Muslim expectations rise, pro-Israel columnist Daniel Pipes discounts President Obama’s moves as anything more than window dressing. James Zogby of the Arab-American Institute told the Times, "For the first time in eight years, we have the opportunity to meet, engage, discuss, disagree, but have an impact on policy,” but Pipes responded that former President George W. Bush also bent over backwards for Muslim support.
“One can find inconsistencies and exceptions, but the overall Bush record showed great concern for Muslim opinion,” Pipes wrote. He pointed out that Bush added a Koran to the White House library and called Islam a “religion of peace.”
Middle East think tank analyst Barry Rubin goes one step further than Pipes and warns that President Obama’s “reaching out to Muslims approach” is based on naïve thinking.
Rubin wrote on the Blitz.com web site, “What is Obama thinking? … For him, the bow to the Saudi king (and others) symbolizes Obama's commitment to show that America is ‘just one of the guys’ among countries… Once he shows he can hang out with the Third World, Obama seems to reason, why would anyone hate America anymore?”
The analyst reasoned that the Obama’s administration of being “tough on Israel by not being tough on the radicals” may result in Muslim fanatics succeeding in bringing down the Saudi kingdom, which Rubin pointed out “is on the front line with Iran and dependent on U.S. protection [while] the Jewish state…can take care of itself.”
